Quentin Brian Joseph Leo was raised in Suffield, CT. He attended public schools there and graduated from Bridgton Academy (ME) in 1970 as winner of The Buck Prize for Outstanding Senior. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from New England College (NH) in 1974. In 1990, Mr. Leo studied finance and accounting at Fairfield (CT) University. In addition to his career in the magazine industry and as an information technology consultant, Quentin has authored articles on sailing, hunting and fishing, skiing, rowing, and other topics for national magazines and newspapers. Mr. Leo has served on the Board of Trustees of Bridgton Academy and its Executive Committee. He also served as chair of the Board of Deacons of the New Canaan Congregational Church, chair of the Middle School Ministries Committee, and as a volunteer Sunday School teacher. He is a past vice president of the board of A Better Chance of New Canaan. Mr. Leo lives in New Canaan, CT, with his wife Meg, and their two children. Meg is an illustrator and she is also a past member of the Board of Deacons of the New Canaan Congregational Church. In 1995, the Leo's were awarded the Civilian Service Award by the Town of New Canaan. The Leo's are enthusiastic alpine skiers and hikers. Mr. Leo is also a lifelong sailor whose other interests include drawing and photography. |
